 Hello everyone! Welcome back to today's blog! Today's topic is a peer review of my recently completed Final Task. One of my friends took the time to watch and critique it for me. They mentioned that the eerie music and sound effects set a great mood and built suspense. The pacing of the title sequence was a bit rushed and could be improved by slowing down transitions and allowing shots to linger. The use of lighting and shadows added depth to the scenes, but at times it affected the camera focus. The typography for title cards was bold and fitting but could be improved for better readability. The use of other media within the film sequence, like creating an EAS alarm system, was creative and cool. Overall, with some adjustments to pacing, narrative clarity, and visual elements, the sequence could become a truly haunting and memorable opening for a cinematic experience. Production blog- Music choice!

 Welcome back bloggers! So far we have chosen the setting and where we are choosing to film. Now we are figuring out the music that we want to be playing in the background of the film. It's a difficult choice since a lot of the music that we know of is copyrighted. Which means that if we use it, it can get flagged down and the whole film won't be able to be used. Which will cause a giant delay in the finishing of the film. We had an idea of having one of our friends that really into music write it for us. But we are afraid that it won't turn out the way we need it to. Although it's an idea, a simpler way might just we going on a website with "free to use" music and audio. Not that we necessarily need music, but any kind of audio that can be played in the background that can help with special effect and dramatization. Planning for my Music Video

Props- The props planned to be used are; a car, a instant film Polaroid camera, and some household objects like a book and pencil.   Location- The shooting locations that have been decided on for the music video are, the Lauderdale beach, each of our own homes, Birch State Park, and Holiday Park.   Schedule- Since both me and my partner are busy with sports and schoolwork, we have agreed to meet every Saturday starting this October 14 th until the day the music video is to be submitted. As well as meeting every Thursday starting the 12 th until the due date. This way we maximize the time we have available to not only produce a high-quality music video but also tweak and perfect anything we see.   Backup plan- The song of choice was Viva la Vida by Coldplay, if the song is found to not meet the vibe or style, we are trying to achieve with this music video then as a backup the song, Mr. Brightside by the Killers will be used.
