About me!- Final Task

  Welcome back guys! I missed you and I'm so glad you're back and ready for more incoming blogs! This will just be a refresher as to who I am just in case you forgot. My name is Sophie and I just turned 17. I play volleyball for club and for my school. But one is beach volleyball and one is indoor. I am trying to commit to a college for a sport, preferably volleyball or golf. I love going to the beach when the sun is setting to watch the sun set. I also love to go out with my friends and do some really fun things together. One of my favorite events to go to with my friends, is concerts. I love seeing my favorite people sing my favorite songs in person. I have a young orange cat named sprout and he is a little crazy but I think it is just because he is orange. I have a dog too but he is old and a little grumpy. My favorite subject in school is history because I love knowing why things happen and how it ended up. Another thing I love to do is cook. I like cooking food for the people I love so they can enjoy what I made for them. Sometimes I help out if my schools culinary program and I get service hours in return. For the upcoming blogs, I will be doing my final task which is the beginning to a movie which I am hoping is horror. I am very excited to be filming this to show a really good storyline for people to see. Thank you and I'll see you next time bloggers!

Production blog- Music choice!

 Welcome back bloggers! So far we have chosen the setting and where we are choosing to film. Now we are figuring out the music that we want to be playing in the background of the film. It's a difficult choice since a lot of the music that we know of is copyrighted. Which means that if we use it, it can get flagged down and the whole film won't be able to be used. Which will cause a giant delay in the finishing of the film. We had an idea of having one of our friends that really into music write it for us. But we are afraid that it won't turn out the way we need it to. Although it's an idea, a simpler way might just we going on a website with "free to use" music and audio. Not that we necessarily need music, but any kind of audio that can be played in the background that can help with special effect and dramatization. Final task- Peer review

 Hello everyone! Welcome back to today's blog! Today's topic is a peer review of my recently completed Final Task. One of my friends took the time to watch and critique it for me. They mentioned that the eerie music and sound effects set a great mood and built suspense. The pacing of the title sequence was a bit rushed and could be improved by slowing down transitions and allowing shots to linger. The use of lighting and shadows added depth to the scenes, but at times it affected the camera focus. The typography for title cards was bold and fitting but could be improved for better readability. The use of other media within the film sequence, like creating an EAS alarm system, was creative and cool. Overall, with some adjustments to pacing, narrative clarity, and visual elements, the sequence could become a truly haunting and memorable opening for a cinematic experience.
